Chapter One

Don sat on his bed watching television. It was a lame show, but he focused hard on it anyway. He needed to in order to distract himself from the fact that his lover, Colton, would be leaving him for an entire month to go to Taiwan with the rest of the Asian Studies Club.

The two of them had been together since their high school graduation and had bought an apartment together. They hadn’t spent a day apart since then – until now. Don wished that he could go with Colton even though he had his senior project to finish. It didn’t seem fair.

As Don felt his throat grow itchy, he heard the sound of the shower stop. In response to this, Don rolled onto his stomach and tried very hard not to look at the bathroom door. This was challenging because they lived in a tiny, one-room apartment, and there wasn't much else to look at. They couldn’t afford much right now because they were only full-time waiters on top of being college students.

The sound of the door caught Don’s attention, but he continued to stare determinedly in the opposite direction. A month felt like an eternity to him. His friends had all made fun of him for being overly clingy, but he couldn’t help himself. They didn’t know what it felt like to be in love like they were. He would miss Colton’s kisses, his taste, and the way it felt when he walked through the door after a hard day and knew that Colton would be waiting for him.

He sniffled.

“Ah, Don,” Colton said from the bathroom. “Come on. Don’t be upset. I asked you if I could go six months ago, remember? If I would have known that you were going to get this upset about it, then I wouldn’t have signed up for the trip.”

“It’s your dream to go,” Don said. “But aren’t you going to miss me at all? You seem chipper enough.”

The smell of musky body wash filled the room as Colton padded over. After that, Colton sat on the bed and pressed his hot hand against the base of Don’s spine. Don was still staring at his pillow, or at least pretending to, but he kept sneaking looks at Colton out of the corner of his eye.

“Of course I’ll miss you, Bug,” Colton said, leaning forward and kissing him at the base of his neck. “I love you more than anything else in this entire world. Don’t you remember what I told you when we got together?”

Don smiled. He couldn’t help it. The memory always made his heart feel so warm that he could scarcely stand it.

“You said that the two of us would always be together.”

“And I wasn’t lying either, Bug,” Colton said. “I guarantee that I’m going to miss you ten times as much as you miss me.”

Anger roared in his stomach. That wasn’t the truth at all. He was already lamenting Colton’s trip, and Colton wasn’t due to fly for another four hours. Don seized one of the pillows on their bed and swung it at Colton’s head. Colton, always the faster, athletic one, grabbed a hold of Don’s wrist and tackled him backwards onto the bed. The two of them stared at each other.

“Ah-hah,” Colton said, as Don squirmed beneath him. “My wiggle Bug is finally looking at me. My ruse worked.”

Don laughed. Like always, Colton got his way. Colton knew how to push his buttons better than anyone else.

“Ah, come on,” Colton said. “Are you really going to let me go on an airplane for a month without at least giving me some Bug sugar first?”

For a moment Don was silent. He was caught up in the way that Colton looked and smelled. Colton's hair was mussed and damp from his shower, and his tan skin still had beads of water on it. The towel that he had around his waist was beginning to fall off after their wrestling. Don reached forward and touched Colton’s muscular stomach and felt him quiver.

“That’s my Bug,” Colton said, leaning forward and sucking at the bottom of Don’s earlobe. “Come here, and show me what I’m going to be missing.”

Colton engulfed him in his arms and then kissed him with tongue. For a moment Don paused, getting caught up in the feeling, before he wrapped his arm around Colton’s shoulder and ran his fingers through his hair. The two of them broke apart after a moment, smiling at one another. Their eyes met, and sparks flew.

Colton reached forward and grabbed a strand of Don’s fiery red hair. After that, he leaned forward and kissed it. For some reason, Colton always did that. Colton had always told him that it was like sticking his head in fire that didn’t burn.

With quivering hands, Don peeled off his plaid pajama top and leaned over Colton, kissing him deeply again. Colton felt up Don's chest and stomach hungrily as if trying to memorize the way that his body felt, even though it was neither new nor muscular. Unlike Colton, he had always favored academics over sports and was skinny but soft. His skin was also not golden but a milky white.

Colton leaned downward and grabbed a hold of Don’s pajama bottoms and yanked them off completely, tossing them to the floor. After that, he removed his own towel and threw it to the side. Colton had always been massive and was nicknamed “the horse” in the locker room. The first time that Don had seen Colton hard, he had shrieked and fallen off the bed, making flapping motions with his arms. That was how he had gotten the “Bug” nickname. Colton had never let him forget it.

“Turn over, Bug,” Colton ordered. “I want to visit home base today.”

Don hesitated. “Since it’s sort of a special day, I can suck you off. I know that it’s your favorite.”

“Not today,” Colton said, reaching forward and touching his face. “I want both of us to have fun. It's something to remember me by, right?”

“Don’t say that.” Don pouted. “You’re making it sound like you’re going to be gone for forever. I couldn’t handle that. I love you too much.”

“Just a month, Bug. Just a month,” Colton whispered into his ear, nibbling it. “Now come here. As much as I would like to spend all day fornicating with you, I’m going to miss my flight. Airports take forever these days.”

Colton sat on the bed with his cock erect. Don sat on his knees and kissed Colton deeply. Colton wrapped his arms around him, inserting his fingers into Don's ass pucker again and again. It didn’t take too long to loosen him up. Don and Colton had a very active love life.

By the time that Colton had reached three fingers, Don was trembling with want. Every thrust of Colton's fingers touched his special spot, and he wanted Don to be inside him deeper and deeper. Finally, Colton reached for their bedside drawer and pulled out the gel that made Don hot and sticky on the inside. Colton used three fingers and thrust inside of Don until he cried out loudly, having to grope onto Colton's neck for support lest he fall over.

After that, Colton stopped and shoved his tongue into Don’s mouth again, moving in and out. He thrust slowly with his tongue at first, and then he gained speed as he went along and pushed into him harder and harder. Don reached behind him and inserted his fingers into himself, feeling a rush of pleasure as he did so. It was amazing how Colton could make him feel so horny with just his tongue.

“Come on,” Colton whispered, pulling him close. “Ride me.”

Don wrapped his legs around Colton’s waist and sat down on Colton’s cock slowly. Soon Colton was inside of him, filling him with his dick. It felt so good that Don wanted to cry out in joy and pleasure again and again, and he would have, too, had it not been for the extensive complaints from the neighbors next door.

Using his legs, Don moved up and down Colton’s cock again and again. As he did so, the two of them looked deep into each other’s eyes. Don felt so sad that he started to cry again, and Colton got a concerned expression on his face and nuzzled his lips.

After that, Colton rolled Don backward so that he was lying on the bed. Colton thrust into him passionately while kissing him with longing. When he pulled apart from the kissing, breathing heavily, he whispered, “I love you so much, Bug. It’s just a month, just a month.”

With a cry of passion and sadness, Don wrapped his arms around Colton’s neck and came in an overflow. Colton did the same. The two of them were panting as they lay back down on the bed. They smiled at one another, their eyes bright with joy and mourning at the same time.

“Ah, Bug,” Colton said, leaning forward and kissing him tenderly on the lips. “Don’t give me that sad look. I’m not going to be able to leave.”

Don sighed. “I don’t know why, but I feel queasy, like it’s not going to be just a month at all. I feel like I’m never going to see you again after this moment.”

Shaking his head, Colton smiled sadly and nibbled at his skin. After that, he kissed Don’s nose tenderly and then laid his chin on Don’s forehead. He wrapped the blankets tighter around the two of them, even though they would have to leave for the airport in fifteen minutes.

“It’s really going to be just a month,” Colton said. “You worry too much. You always have.”

“Maybe,” Don said, chewing his bottom lip.

The airport was crowded with summertime travelers, and Don and Colton got pushed by quite a few people as they searched for Colton’s group . When they spotted them – a large group in bright yellow t-shirts that looked ridiculous – Colton surprised him by grabbing his hand and yanking him to one side. Don looked at his watch. Colton had only ten minutes.

“Colton, what are you doing?” Don asked him worriedly. “We’re in a big group of people, and all of your classmates are right there.”
