Marc was more than just a hunk in uniform. His bulging biceps were a badge of honor all their own. His six pack was earned through years of serving and protecting. And saying Marc was Springfields Finest wasn't an understatement. It was just a cold, hard, hunky fact. But it was Marc's gun that Rod Jameson cared the most about.
Rod didn't make a habit of running into police officers. He lived on the right side of the law and preferred singles bars to donut shops. But when Rod blew a tire on the highway and was stranded by the side of the road, he was never happier to see a cop in his life.
Midnight was an especially bad time to blow a tire. The drunks were out in force, not to mention all kinds of other undesirables. Which left Rod as easy pickings while he waited for roadside assistance. He'd expected a sweaty lugnut of a tow truck driver, jaded beyond belief. But instead he got the long dick of the law. Sorry, the long arm of the law.
